Founded in 1968, the Cuban Cohiba brand is widely recognised as one of the world’s top cigar brands, crafting some of the greatest cigars from the best tobacco. As the name suggests, Cohiba is derived from the Taino word for tobacco, and the cigars are indeed tobacco. In order to give Cohiba club cigars their smooth and unique flavour, the tobacco used comes from the Vuelta Abajo region of Cuba and undergoes an additional fermentation process that is exclusive to Cohiba.
